The meeting aimed to enhance safety, sustainability, and competitiveness in the construction machinery sector across Europe.
On January 21 and 22, ANMOPYC, together with UNE, the Spanish Association for Standardization, and SERCOBE, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Capital Goods, had the honor of hosting the meeting of the European technical standardization body CEN/TC 151/WG1 at the headquarters of UNE in Madrid.
This working group brings together leading manufacturers of construction and mining machinery, actively collaborating on the development of European standards for earth-moving machinery. These standards are essential for ensuring the safety, sustainability, and competitiveness of the sector across Europe.
Our member AUSA participates as an expert in this working group (Mr. Eduardo Casado Luna). Under the presidency of the national mirror committee (CTN-UNE 115), ANMOPYC continues to promote Spanish leadership in technical standardization at the European level, fostering progress that benefits both manufacturers and users of construction machinery.
We deeply appreciate all attendees for their participation and commitment to this important meeting.
Together, we continue building a safer, more innovative, and competitive future for construction machinery.
