Dumper 5025 satisfy customers

In 2013 the family-owned company Bergmann Maschinenbau presented their new 25 tons dumper at the bauma fair in Munich. After the successful presentation and a positive feedback during the bauma the 5025 is momentarily used for several tunnel projects in Germany.

The efficiency of the 5025 tunnel-dumper was tested by the customers on the road, on tracks as well as underground-tunnels and convinced them. The high economic efficiency of this transportation concept was measured by the fact that this vehicle does not have to take time-killing U-turns anymore the lowest fuel consumption and lowest ventilation in its class.

The advantages resulting from the new vehicle concept are mainly its compact measurements in combination with a rotatable driver’s seat and an efficient power train/ drive chain with only 194 KW which complies with nowadays emissions values.   

The mechanical engineers did not only focus on an efficient operation of the dumper but especially on safety aspects as well as the driver’s cab, too. The 360° rotatable driver’s seat is located between two identically build cockpits setup in both driving directions. The safe entrance and the easy access to service- and maintenance places were positively evaluated by the customers. The great driving comfort is guaranteed by the rotatable articulated joint combined with a suspended axle enforcing higher speed even on rough terrain.

The presented concept was realized in close cooperation with the customers. It highlights the high level of innovation and effort of the Bergmann company.
