e-Power platform delivers extra power to the rear of the tractor

Nowadays, many modern implements reach their limits in terms of impact and operational precision because they cannot exploit their full potential due to a lack of electrical power. The mechanical PTO output and 12 V electrical capacity from the tractor are often insufficient. With the new innovative e-Power platform, Kubota is now supplying such high-performance implements with a high electrical capacity of 10,5 kW @56 VDC combined with mechanical PTO output. This development provides additional electrical power without the need for any tractor modifications.

The e-Power platform from Kubota can be easily mounted on the attachment console at the rear of the tractor. Its output is located directly below the PTO connection, simplifying the connection of different implements. The platform is fully ISOBUS-compatible. The implement can switch the additional power supply on and off via TIM (Tractor Implement Control) technology whenever it needs additional capacity.

Modern high-performance implements can now operate with higher impact and/or precision thanks to the additional electrical power. Besides economic benefits, the e-Power platform from Kubota also offers environmental and safety advantages. Unnecessary fuel consumption is avoided as a result of demand-based PTO actuation using the TIM protocol and safe operation is guaranteed by the low-voltage technology.
