  • Energreen America launches a Floating Rotary Mower System featuring a lockable hinge that enhances ground following and reduces mechanical stress on uneven terrain.

  • The system offers dual-mode operation, allowing the mower deck to float for mowing or lock rigidly for precision tasks like tree trimming.

  • This mower is the first product manufactured in the U.S. by Energreen America, supporting local manufacturing growth and supply chain flexibility.

  • Designed for professional vegetation management, the attachment is compatible with all Energreen self-propelled platforms and improves productivity and operator comfort.

A new attachment design improves ground-following performance, reduces structural stress, and increases mowing efficiency on uneven terrain — and marks Energreen America’s first U.S.- manufactured product.

Energreen announces the development of a new Floating Rotary Mower System featuring a patent-pending lockable hinge technology designed to address long-standing limitations of conventional rigid rotary mowers.

Traditional rotary mower decks are rigidly mounted, which limits their ability to follow uneven ground surfaces. This rigidity often results in inconsistent cutting height, higher vibration levels, and increased mechanical stress on the mower deck, boom, and carrier machine.

Energreen’s new floating system integrates a special articulated hinge between the mower deck and the mounting structure. This hinge allows the deck to follow terrain contours more accurately, maintaining consistent contact with the ground. The result is a more uniform cut, smoother operation, and reduced stress transferred to the vehicle and boom system.

Field testing has demonstrated that the floating design allows operators to work at higher operating speeds, particularly on rough or irregular surfaces, while maintaining cut quality and machine stability.

A key feature of the system is its dual-mode capability. When floating movement is not desired—such as during tree trimming, brush work, or precision applications—the hinge can be mechanically locked with a pin, instantly converting the mower into a rigid configuration. This allows the same attachment to be used across multiple applications without modification.

The development of this system is fully aligned with Energreen’s philosophy of continuous improvement, with a clear focus on making machines more effective, safer, and more comfortable for the operator by reducing vibration, mechanical stress, and operational fatigue while improving productivity.

The Floating NINJA Rotary Mower also represents a strategic milestone for the company. This attachment will be the first product manufactured in the United States by Energreen America, marking the beginning of a broader industrial plan to increase U.S.-made content across Energreen’s product range.

This initiative is part of a larger long-term strategy aimed at:

  • Expanding local manufacturing capabilities

  • Increasing supply chain flexibility

  • Supporting Energreen’s fast-growing North American market

  • Creating new skilled jobs in the United States

Key benefits of the Floating Rotary Mower System include:

  • Improved ground following on uneven terrain

  • More consistent cutting height

  • Reduced vibration and structural stress

  • Higher achievable working speeds

  • Lockable rigid mode for tree and precision work

  • Increased versatility from a single attachment

The Floating Rotary Mower System has been engineered for professional vegetation management applications, including roadside maintenance, slope mowing, embankments, and municipal operations. The design is compatible with boom-mounted and remote-controlled Energreen platforms.

Energreen is introducing this rotary mower compatible with all self-propelled range.
