Engcon's smallest tiltrotator in new weight class

Engcon’s smallest tiltrotator, the EC02 has had its weight classification reduced to 1.5 - 2.5 tonnes (from 1.5 – 3.5 tonnes).

"This is a natural adaptation as our new EC204 tiltrotator for excavators in the 2-4 tonne range will take over part of the EC02 market," explains Fredrik Jonsson, Development Manager at Engcon.

Fredrik also tells us that the EC02 is now only available with the smallest quick hitch types.

"The EC02 will be equipped with our S30 quick hitches as standard; however, if necessary the it is available with other types of quick hitch, as long as they are the equivalent size of the S30," says Fredrik.

The change comes into force immediately and the EC02 will only be available with quick hitches larger than the S30 in special cases. In such cases it will be counted as a special product with components that are not normally stocked. In addition to its suitability for the 2-4 tonne weight range and its S40 quick hitch compatibility, the EC204 can also be fitted with an integrated grab.
