Enlarging your expertise – technical training for customers

The technical trainings at the SENNEBOGEN Academy offer end users the best opportunities, for further training on the SENNEBOGEN cranes and material handling machines. Recently 17 participants from British Forth Ports took part at training in Straubing. Together with the service technicians of the local British sales and service partner Hassell & Sons, they were able to gain a valuable insight into the technique of SENNEBOGEN cranes and material handlers as well as deepen their knowledge and establish contacts.

As a service provider for all port and logistic tasks Forth Ports serves a total of eight ports in the UK. The proven SENNEBOGEN machines are used for handling general cargo and bulk material. Aim of this training, which took place over three days in the new SENNEBOGEN Academy, has been for example to expand the knowledge of electrical and hydraulic diagrams. The individual trainings address the special service challenges each client is faced with. The participants learn about the function and location of each machine component in detail in order to be able to carry out easy self-maintenance on site. By intensifying the cooperation between customer and dealer technicians a maximum availability and reliability of the machines are ensured. This is especially for Forth Ports of great importance, since their machines are constantly in use during 24 hour shifts.

Time for exchange and knowledge transfer

In addition to the theoretical courses and practical machine training, exchange and discussions are an important part of the three-day event. A varied program, including a visit of the production, an evening event and a drivers training, provides space for knowledge transfer and time for exchange between customers, dealers and manufacturers.
