Establishment of the Belgian Equipment Rental Association (BERA) is a fact

• The Belgian Equipment Rental Association (BERA) was established in early July by 20 Belgian rental companies.

• BERA was created by volunteers from Loxam, Boels, Heli, Key-Tec, Wim Verhuur, Marchandise, Huurland, and Hermans Heftrucks.

• The association aims to be the leading voice for machine rental companies in Belgium, striving for sustainable added value for members and stakeholders.

• BERA will work to ensure policies consider the interests of machine lessors and will actively share sector information with members.

• Working groups will address topics such as sustainability, innovation, regulation, and safety, aiming to establish common practices and influence policy-making.

• BERA will become a member of the European Rental Association (ERA).

• The official presentation of BERA will take place on 7 September at MatExpo.

• The BERA board consists of Chairman Bill Olivier (Loxam), Secretary Pascal Ameloot (Huurland), Treasurer Dennis Renders (Hermans Heftrucks), and founding members Sven Dekeyser (Key-Tec), Laurent Dedoncker (Heli), Wim Van Nuffelen (Wim Verhuur), and Ivan Marchandise (Marchandise).

The Belgian Equipment Rental Association (BERA) was founded at the beginning of July. The initiators are some 20 Belgian rental companies who expressed their support for this initiative. The effective creation of BERA was concretised by volunteers from Loxam, Boels, Heli, Key-Tec, Wim Verhuur, Marchandise, Huurland and Hermans Heftrucks.

BERA's vision is to become the leading voice and catalyst for machine rental companies in Belgium, by achieving sustainable added value for members and stakeholders through collaboration.
BERA gives the sector a voice and will strive to ensure policies take the interests of machine lessors into account.

Besides organising social networking meetings, sector information will be actively shared with members. In addition, working groups will address topics such as sustainability, innovation, regulation and safety, with the aim of reaching common practices, and weighing on policy-making.

As a Belgian federation, BERA will also become a member of the European Rental Association ERA.

The official presentation of the Belgian Equipment Rental Association will take place on 7 September at MatExpo.
