The APEX and International Rental Exhibition (IRE) will take place from June 2 to 4, 2026, at MECC Maastricht, featuring over 200 exhibitors.

A new lecture space on the show floor will host more than 20 exhibitors delivering free 10-minute presentations on rental equipment and technology.

The event includes a wide range of rental equipment displays, from aerial platforms and compact earthmoving machines to portable generators and on-site tools.

Safety at height is a key focus, with IPAF providing regular safety demonstrations throughout the event.

Shows at MECC venue, Maastricht, on 2 to 4 June 2026.
A first at this year’s APEX and International Rental Exhibition (IRE) will be a dedicated ‘lecture’ space on the show floor to highlight the latest developments in rental equipment, software and aerial platforms.
More than 20 exhibitors will give free 10-minute presentations on new machines and rental technology. Participants include Bravi Platforms, TVH, Snorkel, Haulotte, Genie, Palazzani, Xtellio, HG, B’Smart Global, Trackunit, Pess Energy and Airsled, with more to be confirmed.

The shows, which are co-located with the European Rental Association’s annual convention, are on 2 to 4 June. The ERA Convention is on 3 and 4 June.
“The presentations will add an extra dimension to the APEX and IRE exhibitions”, said Steve Webb, Head of Events at KHL Group.
“The participating companies will give short, clear presentations outlining technology that can help rental companies become more productive, efficient and, ultimately, more profitable.
“It’s another reason for rental professionals to attend the event, with three days dedicated 100% to equipment rental. It’s an event like no other.”

More than 200 companies have now signed-up for the two exhibitions, with around 110 APEX exhibitors and around 90 at IRE.
The two shows, both being held at the MECC exhibition centre in the city, will provide equipment rental companies with a convenient one-stop shop in which to see the latest tools and equipment, including:

More than 100 exhibitors of scissor lifts, self-propelled booms and low-height platforms;

Portable generators and battery energy storage systems;

On-site tools for lighting, cutting, drilling;

Compact earthmoving equipment (mini excavators, skid steer loaders, battery powered machines.)
IRE and APEX are located in adjoining indoor halls, with additional outside areas to host the larger aerial platforms.
One key aspect of APEX will be a focus on safe working at height. As well as the latest aerial platforms and safety devices, the International Powered Access federation (IPAF) giving regular safety demonstrations during the three days.

Visitor information
Visitors can register in advance online – see the websites below – and registering for one of the shows gives access to both. Free shuttle buses will run to MECC Maastricht from Brussels Zaventem Airport and Düsseldorf Airport for the full week, from 1 to 5 June, with a travel time of around 1 hr 15 minutes.
For those flying to Amsterdam Schiphol, the train to Maastricht takes between 2.5 and 3 hours and driving takes under 2.5 hours.
