Feeding the world’s hungriest herds, Hustler Equipment announces a national roadshow to release their new triple-axle, large-capacity combination wagon

Hustler Equipment, an 100% Kiwi-owned livestock feeding machinery company based in Hawke’s Bay, has announced a national roadshow for the release of their new game-changing combination feeder wagon, the Combi RX218. The RX218 is an innovative, triple-axle twenty-one cubic meter capacity, multi-feeder wagon, and in this completely unique event, it will perform 17 different free public demonstrations, starting 8 April at the bottom of the South Island and ending at the top of the North Island on 7 May.

Most of these demos will be broadcast live on social media, and agricultural specialists and farmers will be invited to share their experience and knowledge about Kiwi farming practices with viewers anywhere in the world. “Normally farmers and ranchers from around the world are coming to New Zealand this time of year for their annual tour,” said Brent Currie, CEO of Hustler Equipment, “and since they can’t come here this year, with the tour we can virtually bring New Zealand to them.” So the tour will visit many iconic landmarks along the way, celebrating some of the most picturesque landscapes that New Zealand is known for.

Giving back to the farming community that has kept Hustler innovating for six decades, Hustler will be donating on behalf of every registered adult attendee to Farmstrong, a nationwide mental wellbeing programme for the rural community.

2021 is Hustler’s 60th anniversary, and for this month-long celebratory tour they’re partnering with a tractor brand observing their own 70th anniversary, AGCO's Valtra. So a Valtra T174 EV tractor will be towing Hustler’s wagon from one end of the country to the other. This road show will bring these two cutting-edge machines within driving range of farmers throughout the country, so they’ll have a chance to see them up close and to kick the tyres – to see first-hand what makes the Combi RX218 such a quantum leap in feed out innovation.

100% hydraulically-powered and equipped with a twin-speed rear-pusher blade and a heavy-duty puck board floor, the Combi RX218 is the world’s biggest feed out wagon in its category. It was designed for durability and efficiency. Low maintenance and easy-to-use, the tridem-axle Combi RX218 is particularly suited to the rugged terrain of New Zealand farms. It’s perfect for medium to large-scale operations, and simplifies the handling of large volumes of feed. The RX218 provides versatility to economically feed out a wide variety of fodder, such as round or square bales, silage, maize, root crops or food waste.

This event runs from the 8th of April to the 7th of May 2021.
