Fernando Salazar, Chairman and CEO of Cesce

Fernando Salazar is a State Commercial Technician, with a degree in Economic Sciences and Business Studies from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a master’s in Public Administration from Syracuse University in New York.

He has more than thirty years of professional experience in the business world. He has been:

• Chief Counsellor of the Spanish Embassies in China and Brazil

• Executive Vice President of ICEX

• Advisor on international economics to two presidents of the Spanish Government

• Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank

• Deputy Director General of Financial Promotion of Internationalisation

• Chef de Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Tourism and Commerce

• Member of the Boards of Directors of ICEX, ICO, IVEX and Paradores

He has been the Executive President of Cesce since 2018, where he has previously been a member of the Board of Directors. He is also President of Informa D&B, a company of the Cesce Group.
