Among the eight models showcased by Multitel Pagliero at this year’s Bauma, one stood out in particular: the MJE 250 AXON, currently the highest working height full electric truck-mounted platform in the company’s range. The exhibition provided not only a valuable platform for networking and product demonstrations, but also concrete business opportunities. One of these was the sale of the first MJE 250 AXON, purchased by Hoogwerkerverhuur Van Der Voort, a well-established Dutch rental company.

The deal was finalized by Eurosupply Hoogwerksystemen, official Multitel distributor in the Netherlands since 2017. Founded in 1990, Eurosupply specializes in the sale and distribution of new and used aerial work platforms. Today, with a team of 25 professionals, the company also provides training and technical support, ensuring a comprehensive service for its customers.

Hoogwerkerverhuur Van Der Voort, operating a fleet of more than 110 truck-mounted platforms, renewed its confidence in the Italian brand after already purchasing the MTE 270, MJE 250 diesel, and MT162 AXON models. With the acquisition of the MJE 250 AXON full electric, the company further strengthens its commitment to offering innovative, eco-conscious solutions.

“We chose to expand our fleet with the full electric MJE 250 AXON from Multitel,” said Dwight Van Der Voort, owner of the company. “It’s a strategic move in response to a growing market demand for environmentally friendly machines. Zero emissions, silent operation for sensitive areas or night work, access to low-emission zones, and significant cost savings are now essential. At the same time, we can offer 25 metres of working height and excellent operational autonomy.”

Advanced Performance and Clean Technology

The MJE 250 AXON is mounted on the e-Daily 50C14 E chassis and delivers standout performance:

  • 24.70 m working height

  • Up to 16.50 m horizontal outreach (with 100 kg load, 12.50 m with 250 kg)

  • Negative reach down to -3.50 m

Its 450° turret rotation and 180° articulated jib allow precise positioning and easy obstacle clearance. Proportional controls ensure smooth operation, with precise management of boom extension, lifting, lowering and rotation, from both the basket and the ground control station.

The platform is powered by two 37 kW batteries, which directly feed both the chassis and the aerial unit. The permanent magnet electric motor, managed by a high-performance inverter, guarantees outstanding energy efficiency and full-day autonomy.

The MUSA X system calculates the outreach based on stabilizer extension, basket load, boom geometry (angle and extension), and chassis inclination (up to 3°). The unit features a clean, compact design, full safety and emergency equipment, and is remotely connected via Telemetry, Multitel’s proprietary software that enables GPS tracking, real-time machine status, remote parameter setting and diagnostics.

“Our excellent relationship with Rens in ’t Veld from Eurosupply,” Van der Voort concludes, “and the guarantee of reliable service and training on this new power system and work mode, made it an easy decision to once again choose Multitel.”
