Aventics offers innovation and intelligent pneumatics at Motek 2018

New products, it´s industry 4.0 concept and machine safety will be the focus of Aventics’ presentation at Motek from 8 to 11 October 2018.

„The presence of Aventics at Motek 2018 is dedicated to the digitalization of industry and industrial automation. Our presentation shows that digital methods and processes of our pneumatic industry 4.0 concept are not only used to develop new products and services. They also serve to improve customer proximity and become solution partner,” says Wolf Gerecke, Director Strategic Product Management at Aventics.

This strategy is already evident in the new web shop concept: “Aventics Online World” combines the pneumatic shop with engineering tools and provides compact know-how on all aspects of pneumatics. Especially for engineers and technical decision-makers, who daily face complex and time-consuming business processes, this is a considerable added value. The recently launched “Smart Pneumatics Analyzer“ (SPA) is a concrete demonstration of the benefits of Industry 4.0 for Aventics customers. As a digital diagnostic tool, the signal red case displays operating, service and energy data of a compressed air system decentrally and in real time on a tablet. On this basis, customers can set the parameters of their pneumatic environment to efficiency and cost reduction.

The safety of man and machine is always a priority in the industry. Here, the new AS3-SV vent valve ensures safety in compliance with standards even with short cycle times. It assumes the safety functions of redundant venting and protection against unexpected venting. It can be modularly integrated into the AS series maintenance units or flexibly positioned as a stand-alone product. With the new EV 12 pressure control valve, Aventics has also added a high-flow variant to its electro-pneumatic control valve product family. With a flow rate of 6,500 litres per minute, it can be used in the AS3 device series as a stand-alone product or as a lockable battery.
