"From Bricks to Bytes", more than just an event

Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE) hosts the Summit 2019, sponsored by LECTURA, which will take place on October 16 and 17 at the Autoworld museum in Brussels. The motto of the Summit is “From Bricks to Bytes”.

The European construction equipment industry employs over 300,000 people, covers more than 1,200 companies and generates revenues for € 40 billion (2018). This year’s CECE Summit brings into discussion contemporary topics such as how innovative technologies contribute to a sustainable construction industry or how can the political situation in the EU affect the construction business. The attendants of the Summit will have the opportunity to discuss current and future challenges with representatives of major OEMs from the construction industry.

As the motto suggests, the main topic of the event will be how to prepare for times of change and digital transformation.
