Front hopper for Tempo V

In co-operation with Reichert Spezialaufbauten, a front tank for Tempo V has been developed. The tank holds 2200 litres and with an optional extension increases the volume to 2700 litres.

During development of the front tank the vision was to achieve a metering capacity of 350 kg/ha for an 8 row 75 cm Tempo V at 15 km/h. This was achieved by increasing the dimensions of the transport system. Another important factor to achieve a high capacity is of course the tank volume. On the Väderstad front tank the standard 2200 litre hopper volume can be extended to 2700 liter.

Well-proven technology

All of the key components on the front tank are well proven from other Väderstad machines. Fan and seed meter are used on Spirit. The electronics components are used on Spirit and BioDrill. The software is designed so that one terminal controls both the Tempo V and the front tank.

Easy manoeuvring and handling

The design of the front tank with a sloping front, gives the driver a good visibility. The wide opening makes it easy to fill the front tank with a front loader. As an option the front tank can be equipped with a filling auger.
