From the start, the new excavators save up to 20 percent fuel with a simultaneously higher performance and therefore score significantly well in terms of economic and profitable work.
With features such as the load sending hydraulic system for a simple and precise operation, the innovative kinematics for powerful excavation and a revised machine and cabin design for an ideal all-around visibility of the entire working area, Wacker Neuson will be setting standards for precise and efficient work. "The customer and his daily challenges are the focus of the design and development work at Wacker Neuson. This is clearly reflected in our new models of excavators. Technical innovations provide both a simple and intuitive operation of the machines as well as efficiency and profitability in application, especially in tight spaces," says Gert Reichetseder, managing director of Wacker Neuson Linz GmbH. Above all, high fuel savings of 20 percent compared to previous models and simultaneous higher productivity were decisive to all models being awarded the ECO seal immediately. The Wacker Neuson Group awards the ECO seal for especially environment-friendly and economical product solutions.
A good all-around visibility as well as a view of the tracks and attachment on both sides is indispensable for safe operation and quick working in the construction site sector. Due to the lateral offset of the boom as well as the valve hood strongly rounded to the front, the new excavators meet these requirements perfectly. A higher torque and the increase of the bucket's angle of rotation to 200 degrees make the new models the best in their class in terms of excavation performance. The result? More economical work. The innovative kinematics make it possible to insert the bucket even deeper vertically into the ground and gives it significantly more power when excavating. As the name suggests, with the load-independent flow control (LUDV), the load sensing system ensures that the operating speed of all movements always remains constant and independent of the load, even if multiple movements are performed simultaneously.
Up to five auxiliary control circuits are available with the new models: the fast, continuous adjustment of the individual circuits takes place via a "jog dial," a system that is known from the automotive industry. Individual storage as well as settings of attachments can therefore be performed without any problems, even during operation. A 3.5-inch display allows for convenient control of all equipment functions. In connection with a 7-inch display that is optionally available, the excavators ET65, EW65 and ET90 can also be equipped with a rear view camera.
Compact dimensions, wide reach
With the new 6-ton track excavator ET65, the operator can also work safely and accurately even in the tightest of spaces on the construction site, since the excavator is extremely compact and simultaneously maneuverable due to a low height of just 2.5 meters and a width of less than two meters. Unique in its class: the optionally available articulated boom for more flexibility, extra reach, digging depth and dumping height. The 10-ton track excavator ET90 is among the market leaders in terms of performance with excellent engine and hydraulic performance. Even for demanding applications, such as road and highway construction, the engine output and the excavation power of the excavator are sure to impress. The load-sensing hydraulic schematic contributes to high machine efficiency.
On the go on its own axles
Wacker Neuson is introducing another model in the 6-ton range with the wheeled excavator EW65. It is characterized by the infinitely variable drive system up to a maximum speed of 30 km/h in combination with compact dimensions. Thanks to the street driving mode, it is not necessary to use transport vehicles when changing job sites. The wheeled excavator EW65 is also an optimal equipment carrier: This is ensured by five control circuits (three are adjustable), load sending hydraulics and a closed driving circuit for optimal synchronization and no impairments between the working and driving circuit.
