Full focus on landscaping and municipality market at GaLaBau 2018

Giving full focus to the German market, YANMAR Europe (YEU) headquartered in The Netherlands, will show its complete range of agriculture equipment for landscaping, farming and municipality at GaLaBau 2018 in Nuremberg, Germany. In Hall 7, stand 402, YANMAR will present the full line-up of its top-notch SA and YT Series tractors, which are all approved according to the new EC167/2013 homologation standard, valid from 1-1-2018. Also on show will be the full line-up of their compact, safe, and powerful tiller range. Finally, YANMAR introduces two new sales managers entirely dedicated to the agriculture, landscaping and municipality sectors: Mr. Bernd Albrecht for Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and Mr. Béchir El Hedhili for France. Mr. Marcel Keiren remains responsible for Northern Germany and the Benelux region.

YANMAR’s high-quality tractor range (available versions from 22 to 60hp) is built for professional use and offers high productivity, great versatility and optimum working comfort for the operator. SA Tractor Series

The SA Series is a two-model range of future-ready machines that set new standards in emissions control, fuel economy, operator comfort and safety, and ease of maintenance.

The SA221 ROPS is an easy to use, high-end, sub-compact tractor. With 22hp, it has plenty of power for a demanding private owner or professional user. Its overall width of 1.15m and sharp turning radius within 2.4m makes is perfect for small spaces. The newly designed and spacious Lochmann cabin is available as an option. Its maximum height of only 2.06m makes it accessible for most garages.

The SA424 is a highly professional, sub-compact tractor with the capabilities of a compact tractor. With 26hp, 23kph, 713kg rear lifting capacity and optional 540kg loader capacity, direct engine driven Zuidberg front PTO and front lift makes it best of class. The <84Db (A) Luxury Lochmann cabin delivers a spacious working environment with heating, optional cooling and extra-large surrounding windows for excellent visibility.

YT2 Tractor Series

The new YT2 tractor sets a new benchmark for driver comfort, ease of maintenance and operational versatility. The Yanmar original factory cabin is designed by Yanmar Japan with the tall Western European drivers in mind.  This resulted in a luxury and spacious cabin with a drive through height of 2.08m on Galaxy Garden Pro tires. The large, widely opened doors and smart flat floor provide easy access to the driver. Sitting on the optional air suspension seat, the driver experiences the great view around. The slanted bonnet gives maximum view to the front implements. The <82Db (A) cabin is standard equipped with heating, integrated air conditioning, rear window heating and front wiper. The optional rear wiper and front fenders assure clean view to the front and rear.

The Yanmar 3-cilinder, 1,642cm3, 35hp low emission Stage-5 Common Rail diesel engine combines high torque and low fuel consumption due to its electronic multi-stage direct injection system. Yanmar’s own designed particle filter has a long service interval of 6,000 hours.

Driving the YT2 is comfortable due to the smooth 2-pedal driving and hydraulic power steering. Three driving speed ranges provide comfortable settings for all kinds of jobs. The automotive drive system on the hydrostatic transmission allows for easy driving from 0-31kph without shifting gear and the electronically engaged 4-wheel wet brake system ensures a safe stop in any condition. The automatic dual-speed system enables super tight turning without damaging the soil. Top of class is its 1,300kg rear lifting capacity. Higher PTO efficiency and smooth performance are achieved by the Zuidberg front lift system and direct engine driven soft-start front PTO.

Optionally, the tractor can be completed to the required needs of the job with, for example, a Zuidberg front lift and PTO system, Yanmar loader, Yanmar drive over mid-mower connected to the independent mid-PTO. The professional user will also appreciate the Scharmüller ladder hitch to enable perfect matching for all kinds of rear implements.

YT3 Tractor Series

Yanmar’s Vario-transmission called i-HMT is worldwide unique in the 47-59hp range. This very compact Integrated Hydro Mechanical Transmission makes the driving comfort from top class large agricultural tractors now available to the compact range. This transmission combines the high efficiency from a mechanical gear with the smoothness of a hydrostatical gear and offers new features as electronic pre-drive settings called A and B mode, for easy field management.

The YT3 tractor’s reliable power comes from the Stage 5 Yanmar common-rail engines from 47 and 59hp combined with a 6,000h maintenance interval DPF. The spacious Yanmar cabin is an example of quality and comfort. Equipped with standard air-conditioning and an internal sound level of >77Db (A). The Grammer seat provides good ergonomic seating position by tilting steering wheel and optional air-suspension, making it a professional working place worthy.

YK Tiller Series

YANMAR shows the full line-up of their safe, compact, yet powerful tiller range within the 3.0 to 7.0hp range, the next generation in soil cultivation. The YK tiller series has been designed with three main user benefits in mind: ease of operation, less fatigue for the operator, and safety. In order to meet modern tilling requirements and improve overall user experience, YANMAR has used new and further improved technical features for its YK tillers. Among these are the sword-like Katana tines for deeper tilling with lower vibration (Katana is a Japanese sword), i-Start for a quick start with 33% lower pulling force, the free or fixed resistance bar, reverse function and the weed removal protection device.
