Genie introduces Authorized Service Provider network EMEAR-wide

Following increased demand for Genie® products and services through all channels within Europe, The Middle East, Africa and Russia (EMEAR), Genie is strengthening its existing Genie Service Support team with a network of Authorized Genie Service Providers (AGSP) EMEAR-wide.

“As part of our brand’s focus on continuous improvement, this organization is a big step forward for our customers in terms of uptime,” says Matt Skipworth, EMEAR Service Solutions Manager, Terex AWP. “Bringing more points of service and more people with the right skills closer to local markets, this ASP network now enables us to respond more rapidly and efficiently with a level of service adapted to our customers’ specific needs.”

To date, following an in-depth eighteen-month accreditation process, the first countries to benefit from the AGSP organization include Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom and Ireland. All teams have been trained by company specialists in compliance with high industry standards.

“Service calls remain centralized in the same way as before,” says Matt. “Our ASP teams are generally sent to service standard machines, which leaves our company specialists available to focus on the most technically demanding models. Feedback from the field has been extremely positive. We are confident that we have the right people in place to efficiently support our customers with the high level of in-the-field service they rely on.”

Aiming to expand the Genie ASP network to the entire EMEAR region, further agreements are expected to be sealed in Germany, Benelux, Italy and Poland by Q4 this year.
