Genie® micro scissors are a safe alternative to ladders and a more productive alternative to vertical mast lifts. They also are well suited for jobs where you might normally use a standard 14 ft or 19 ft scissor lift. However, certain applications still require operators to reach above their head while working at height into areas that are less accessible.

Like the original Genie Lift Tools™ Access Deck, Genie’s new Lift Tools Integrated Access Deck increase productivity safely in data centers for tasks including HVAC, electric, plumbing and general facilities maintenance, and any other job where operators need to reach into tight overhead spaces. In response to customer demand, the Integrated Access Deck also offers a 360° protective rail for further operator protection.

“When not in use, the Integrated Access Deck can easily be lowered and stowed away to give the operator more platform workspace,” said Corrado Gentile, Genie Global Product Director. “When in use, the Integrated Access Deck provides additional reach as well as a protective halo that encloses workers when they are using the elevated work surface.”

The Integrated Access Deck, which offers an additional 10.5 in / 50 cm of height, is available as a factory install on new Genie GS™-1932m and GS-1432m micro scissor lifts. The original Access Deck Kit, which provides fleet owners the flexibility to move the access deck to another machine, remains available as an aftermarket accessory for rental companies seeking to offer accessories as add-on rental options.

The Integrated Access Deck and Access Deck Kit are available now for customers in ANSI markets. Both will be available for customers in CE and UKCA markets by late June 2026. Aftermarket Integrated Access Deck kits will be available later in 2026.
