GEOseed® application integrated into iM Farming Concept

The electric drive GEOseed® with two-dimension control for precision seed drills has been integrated in the iM Farming Concept area iM Intelligent. The innovation called GEOseed® allows the positioning of the seeds in parallel or diamond pattern as well beyond the working width. It maximizes yield, optimizes procedures and saves costs.

With GEOseed® you can open the next chapter of precision seeding. With the GEOseed® application you can increase your yield and maximize efficiency.

The patented two-dimension control, GEOseed®, allows seeding in parallel and diamond pattern. Due to a precise GPS-RTK signal in combination with the new hardware at the precision seed drill, the placement of the seeds can be controlled in such a way that alternatively parallel or diamond patterns are created.

The ideal distribution of the seeds will result in best exploitation of nutrients, light and water and, during harvest, in less damage of the plants thus increasing yields.  At the same time, in combination with the well-known GEOcontrol system, the even distribution reduces the seed rate, avoids overlapping and seed windows.

Organic farms benefit from the GEOseed® system even more since it allows interrow cultivation in an angle of 90° to the sowing direction – again with significantly reduced damages of the plants due to the exact placement.
