Goodyear once again joins Team De Rooy as the official tire supplier for the 2026 Dakar Rally, equipping the team with Goodyear OFFROAD 375/90R22.5 tires and its advanced Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Proven performance in previous editions — including supporting Team De Rooy in their 2023 Dakar truck category victory — reinforces Goodyear’s role as a trusted partner in one of the world’s toughest motorsport environments.
The 2026 Dakar Rally, running from January 3 to 17 on an 8,000-kilometer loop starting and ending in Yanbu, introduces a demanding blend of long specials, varied terrain and new “Marathon-Refuge” stages with limited support. With nearly 5,000 kilometers of timed sections and a rest day in Riyadh, this edition places strong emphasis on endurance, consistency and vehicle management across shifting sands and fast, technical tracks.
Team De Rooy fields a competitive lineup for this year’s rally:
-
#602 Ales Loprais, David Kripal, Jiri Stross
-
#604 Vaidotas Zala, Paulo Fiuza, Max van Grol

Goodyear OFFROAD tires and TPMS: mobility and control in extreme conditions
Team De Rooy relies once again on Goodyear 375/90R22.5 OFFROAD tires, engineered for traction, robustness and heat resistance across dunes, rocky surfaces and rapid transitions. Combined with Goodyear TPMS, the system enables continuous monitoring and adjustment of pressure and temperature, helping crews optimize mobility and actively manage heat buildup during demanding stages.
