Greater local customer focus from Sandvik Construction

We are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the expanded Hillhead 2016 exhibition, which is to be held near Buxton, Derbyshire, from the 28th- 30th June. Exhibiting at Hillhead is a continuation of our strategy of focusing on more locally oriented activities. These will bring us closer to the local needs of our customers, wherever they operate in the world.

By exhibiting at Hillhead 2016 we will be putting our products and services in front of more than 17,000 industry visitors from across the quarrying, construction and recycling industries. As the biggest exhibition of its kind in the world, set in the stunning and unique surroundings of a limestone quarry, Hillhead is focused on the real requirements of these businesses.

The opportunity presented by an exhibition of such importance to the quarrying, construction and recycling industries will enable us to emphasize areas of expertise and service that transcend the traditional supplier-customer dynamic. This is due to Hillhead being quite rightly seen as the perfect place to introduce new solutions based equipment, as well as connect with our customers in a quarry environment.

Hillhead 2016 will see us highlight the total solutions nature of our product ranges, with many old favorites being shown. Additionally a number of UK and world product launches are planned, as well as live demonstrations of mobile crushing and screening equipment being held in front of our stand. We believe that the working demonstration areas are what make Hillhead so special as visitors to our stand enjoy the opportunity to see our crushing and screening equipment in a 'live' quarry environment.

We have also been informed that work is nearing completion on extending the showground area in preparation for Hillhead 2016. In total, around 16,000 tons of material has been excavated to create just under 2,000m2 of additional exhibitor space. This means that Hillhead 2016 will be the biggest ever.

With the live demonstrations of Sandvik equipment being held hourly directly in front of the main pavilion on the stand, UK and World Products taking place, Hillhead will certainly be a showcase event for Sandvik Construction in 2016.
