GRI Launches New Radial Construction Tire

GRI has launched a groundbreaking radial tire, the GRIP XLR MP55, designed for heavy duty backhoe loaders, compact loaders and telehandler applications. Its extra wide lugs provide excellent grip and greater stability. The tread compound ensures resistance against wear and cuts, whilst the new tie bar design increases tire life and allows for longer working hours.

The inter lug design of the GRIP XLR MP55 is unique. The three steps in the lug at the center line prevents center lug cracks when taking on heavy loads, this also enables higher traction for better productivity. The tire has unmatched puncture resistance and durability that results in less down time. This is of utmost importance when operating under harsh conditions, which expose the tire to the serious risks of puncture or casing deterioration.

The GRIP XLR MP55 is currently available in size 19.5L R24, with more sizes to be released soon. The tire range avaliable for loader applications also include, the GRIP EX LT100 in size 12.5/80-18, GRIP EX LT122 in size 14.9-24, GRIP EX LT200 in size 15.5-25 and the GRIP EX LT300 in size  9.00-16. Specifically designed for telehandler applications is the GRIP EX TL200 in size 15.5/80-24.
