GRI Launches the Largest Agriculture Tire to be exported from Sri Lanka

GRI launched it largest GREEN XLR 85 radial agriculture tire, with the tire size of 480/80R50 and measuring an astounding diameter of over 2 meters. This was considered a proud milestone for the company, as GRI is the first speciality tire manufacture in Sri Lanka to produce an agriculture tire of this magnitude.

The GREEN XLR 85 is developed with cutting-edge technology that features outstanding traction and driving comfort both on and off the road. Its specially designed mud breakers provide excellent self-cleaning properties and the new tie bar design strengthens the center lugs for higher performance. This tire is ideal for long working hours in the fields.

“We recognize that farming machinery is getting more powerful, as farmers strive for more productivity to feed the world’s population, this tire is used for tractors above 200 HP, with a Max load capacity of 4375kg”, stated Dr. Mahesha Ranasoma, CEO GRI.
