  • HELI introduces its first 25-ton electric lift truck, the CPD 250, at LogiMAT 2025.

  • The CPD 250 features a LION high-voltage battery and can achieve a lifting height of up to 8,000 mm with an optional triplex mast.

  • The truck emphasizes ergonomics with a tiltable cab, real-time color displays, and programmable safety devices.

  • Electric forklifts like the CPD 250 have 30-40% lower maintenance costs compared to diesel forklifts of the same power.

  • Market Development Manager Marco Hauk highlights the growing trend towards large electric forklifts in various industrial sectors.

HELI manufactures over 350,000 industrial trucks a year in seven factories in China, from low lift trucks to reach stackers. All electric forklift trucks, by far the largest product range of the number 7 in the global industrial truck market, are state-of-the-art electric forklift trucks with LION batteries.

The range of the current HELI-G3 series reaches up to 10,000 kg load capacity, so the 25-ton CPD 250 with 25,000 kg load capacity at 1,200 mm LSP “goes one better”. The truck is CE-certified and will be demonstrated in operation to German customers after LogiMAT. The truck, which weighs 37,500 kg when ready for use, has a wheelbase of 4,250 mm and is powered by a LION high-voltage battery (608 Volt; 210/315 Kwh). A lifting height of up to 8,000 mm can be achieved with the optional triplex mast.

Particular emphasis was placed on ergonomics. The cab can be tilted sideways for maintenance work. Color displays showing all operating statuses in real time, mini tips, reversing camera, protection class IP 67 for outdoor use in all weather conditions and programmable safety devices. The load, mast tilt angle and stability monitor and facilitate operation, making it very safe. In addition, electric forklifts have around 30 to 40 % lower maintenance costs compared to diesel forklifts of the same power. The “large” 315 kWh lithium battery is an optional extra, which can be charged in a minimum of 1 to 1.5 hours thanks to the connection of two chargers.

Market Development Manager Marco Hauk: “We are seeing the trend towards large electric forklifts in many industrial sectors. Application scenarios in industry, logistics and production. We can currently cover the load capacity range from 20,000 to 35,000 kg with electric forklift trucks. I am therefore particularly pleased that we can show the 25-tonne truck in the entrance area of LogiMAT.”
