Hiab, part of Cargotec, launches the MULTILIFT eULTIMA, the world’s first plug-and-play hooklift designed specifically for electric trucks. Built with sustainability in mind, the MULTILIFT eULTIMA is designed to deliver exceptional performance and efficiency, setting a new industry standard.

The MULTILIFT eULTIMA features seamless integration by utilising the truck’s ePTO for power, ensuring easy installation and optimal performance with energy-efficient controls. 

The silent performance is Ideal for city centres and nighttime deliveries. This product features various noise reduction technologies, including a white noise buzzer, an optimised hydraulic system, and mechanical noise suppression technology. 
Built to enhance efficiency, the exclusive performance Package boosts speed and energy efficiency, while proportional controls enhance precision and operational efficiency. Optimised control parameters ensure that energy is used only as needed, with no consumption when the hooklift is not in operation.

The MULTILIFT eULTIMA is made from MULTILIFT Ultima ZERO™, a recycled, fossil carbon emission-free steel, reducing production carbon emissions by 15% and active use emissions by 25%. Hiab, as part of Cargotec, is partnering with Swedish steel producer SSAB.  In 2023 Cargotec and SSAB took their partnership to the next level by introducing SSAB Zero™, a fossil carbon emission-free recycled steel, to the cargo and load handling industry used in the eULTIMA and a plan to use it in more of Hiab’s products in the future.

The MULTILIFT eULTIMA will be displayed during the Elmia Lastbil Truck Exhibition, the largest transport event in the Nordic region, at Hiab’s booth A06:26 and U501:18 on August 21 - 24. Partnering with Volvo Trucks, The MULTILIFT eULTIMA will be mounted on a Volvo electric truck also made from recycled, fossil carbon emission free steel produced by SSAB.
