High-mounted fan reduces dust intake

The newly developed and high-mounted fan on the Spirit 600C reduces dust intake, which increases precision and machine durability.

"The design of the Spirit 600 C is not only good-looking and practical. The fan is mounted high and integrated with the front edge of the seed hopper for practical purposes too, as this is where the air is cleanest. This dramatically reduces the intake of plant residue and dust, which improves precision and machine durability," explains Bernt Mårtensson at Väderstad AB.

The fan boasts a very high capacity and all air flows can be adjusted with AirBalance to optimise air distribution by seed size, which further improves precision. The high fan capacity enables large quantities of fertiliser and seed to be dispensed at high speed, enabling the seed drill to handle large quantities at high speed.
