Hitachi and KTEG present two new mini excavators at Bauma

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) and KTEG will present a variety of versatile mini and compact excavators on their stand at Bauma 2025, highlighting an extensive choice of solutions available for contractors. This includes the KTEG 55U-6 MTC and 65USB-6 MTC, which will make their European debut.

KTEG has introduced these two new multi-tool carrier machines to the market to optimise job site efficiency. Based on the Hitachi ZX55U-6 and ZX65USB-6, they have additional functions that don’t require the operator to get in and out of the cab. An important feature is the 7-inch new colour monitor that is controlled by a new jog dial, which can be used to adjust oil flow and pressure for various front attachments.

As two of the eight new mini and compact models to be unveiled at the event, the development of the KTEG 55U-6 MTC and 65USB-6 MTC symbolises the successful partnership between Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (HCM) and Kiesel Technology Entwicklung GmbH in their joint venture.
