Hitachi unveils the ZV65R and ZV75R vibratory rammers

As part of its impressive new product line-up at Intermat, Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) will present the ZV65R and ZV75R vibratory rammers. Ideal for working in a variety of applications, including foundations and trenches in soil or sand, the models’ robust and compact design makes them extremely versatile, efficient to maintain and easy to transport between job sites.

A big impact on productivity

The Hitachi ZV-R series of vibratory rammers is user-friendly and offers a high power output – with improved propulsion. The new models are easily manoeuvrable and offer powerful compaction force, which makes them ideal for confined working conditions.

In addition to an easily operated throttle lever, the ZV-R models come equipped with a low-vibration handle and visible oil gauge. These features – combined with the centralised location of the controls and convenient engine-off switch – help improve the overall safety and performance of the rammers.

Built to last

The ZV-R models include many common components. The crank, handle and cylinder units, and ramming shoe allow efficient servicing and are easily replaceable, minimising any potential downtime.

The rubber isolator has a high capacity for vibration damping and a built-in stopper system to reduce stress applied during operation. These useful features decrease the likelihood of wear and increase service life.

“The new vibratory rammers, based on advanced Hitachi technology, enable owners to perform a wide range of jobs effectively and safely,” says Joep van den Maagdenberg, Product Specialist at HCME. “They can also be supplied with a number of optional extras that help to increase productivity and reduce the overall cost of ownership.”
