Hubtex Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG will launch a service offensive in Austria beginning 1 April. The manufacturer of forklift trucks and special-purpose vehicles for long, heavy and bulky loads has set up its own team of experienced service technicians. Hubtex will also be launching a new training programme to strengthen its Austrian team further.

Since the start of this year, Hubtex has had its own sales team in Austria, working together with local contacts to tap into the huge potential of the market. "After just three months we can see that our solutions have been very well received on the Austrian market," explains Michael Schulz, who is responsible for looking after Hubtex's Austrian customers. "This has naturally gone hand-in-hand with an increase in demand for our services. We will therefore be launching a service offensive for all new vehicles in Austria starting 1 April." Hubtex will initially take on two new employees and will draw on the support of service technicians from southern Germany. The company is currently training additional staff at its academy in Fulda, which is also home to Hubtex's headquarters.

Training at the Hubtex Academy

In regularly held basic training courses, the Hubtex Academy teaches participants about all the technical specifications of the various vehicle generations. Furthermore, the service technicians regularly take part in training courses at manufacturers of electric and hydraulic components. This helps ensure that all employees are able to provide fast and competent support – irrespective of the vehicle type.

Together with the local service experts in Austria, Hubtex is helping to guarantee faster response times and a closer connection with customers. The company provides users with a full-service package, including repairs, retrofitting, maintenance, general overhauls and modifications. This is in addition to the OEM replacement parts it supplies for the entire fleet of Hubtex vehicles. Hubtex also offers regular check-ups to make sure vehicles are suitable for long-term operation and to further minimise the risk of equipment failure. Moreover, Hubtex's service includes equipment safety inspections, exhaust emissions tests, and inspections of personal protective equipment and gas facilities.
