Huddig AB strengthens its position in the United States by opening the branch Huddig Inc. in Midwest, Chicago. This is done in order to continue building a service and distribution structure to provide the best possible support to existing and future customers.
The United States is one of Huddig’s focus markets on exports, and the increased efforts in the United States are made mainly to work with knowledge transfer, and to provide service and product training to existing retailers. In connection with the establishment, we also have the opportunity to support several sales channels and thus seek more retailers.
Last fall Hans Bergqvist moved with his family to the United States after 24 years in the company in Sweden. His long experience and skills make him a great asset as Area Sales Manager for North America.
"It feels great to be in place in the US after working remotely from Sweden for a period of time. Being close to my customers in the right time zone gives me the opportunity to serve them better", Hans says.
Daniel Myrgren, Marketing Manager Huddig AB, feels positive with having Hans Bergqvist in place in the US.
"Hans extensive experience within the Huddig Group and his deep product knowledge are very valuable in this investment."
The ongoing pandemic makes the work more difficult, but we see it as a great advantage to have the possibility to support such an important market as USA at site. Even with all local travel restrictions we have a much better possibility to support our customers with Huddig personnel in the country at the same time zone.
