Made for High-Risk Environments

The Halo Light, which is now available for purchase online at www.illumagear.com/store, is designed specifically for a hard hat, lighting the worker’s entire task area without adjustment. The Halo Light is portable and personal, illuminating the task area without shadows regardless of where the worker moves. The Halo Light is ideally suited for a variety of markets including construction, DOTs, mining, oil and gas exploration, warehouse, and any other industry in which safety and illumination are of concern.

The Halo Light features:

  • A 360° halo light active illumination system
  • Visibility up to ¼ mile away in all directions
  • The ability to fully illuminate the worker’s task area out to the visual periphery
  • Elimination of shadows no matter where the worker moves
  • Patented tension spring-mounting system connects securely to any hard hat*
  • Easy, single button functionality
  • Four light modes: Halo, Hi-Alert, Task, and Dim
  • International Protection (IP) Rating of 65 to protect against dust, dirt, and high-pressure water
  • Rechargeable battery that lasts 12 hours on full power
  • Breakaway quick-release battery cord
  • Built to last in tough construction environments
  • Lightweight design
  • One-year warranty

“There are millions of individuals who work in high-risk environments, for which the current solutions available are inadequate,” said Andrew Royal, president and chief product officer at ILLUMAGEAR. “For example, many construction workers use less durable camping head lamps that break under heavy use and burn through batteries. These head lamps do not make the worker visible. The Halo Light provides better protection for construction workers and anyone else wearing a hard hat and working in a high-risk environment.”

“The Halo Light is an amazing new tool that has the potential to revolutionize the construction industry in both safety and project delivery,” said Mark Gauger, safety manager, GLY Construction, Seattle, Wash.
