The sustainability strategy that Implaser has been developing in recent years in its manufacturing processes and use of materials, now extends to our internal management with the reduction of paper consumption and the digitization of documents.

The Zero Papers project, aimed at eliminating the paper used to document products and orders, was launched this year with the involvement of a team of volunteers and a clear objective: to eliminate paper consumption at Implaser.

In just the first few months since the program's launch, we've managed to reduce document copies and printouts by more than 10,000 per month , which equates to a 60% decrease in paper consumption per product sold. These positive results have been accompanied by a document digitization process and a change in how we store files and communicate.

For Implaser, it's not just about finding alternatives to physical paper, but about achieving significant improvements in document management . One of these improvements is knowledge management through the creation of a centralized information database; a large library documenting the processes, innovations, and less explicit experiences we apply every day that can be useful to everyone.

Furthermore, we want to achieve more efficient communication between all teams by making the most of the digital tools we have available with a new architecture in communication processes.

Zero Papers, a collaborative process within the organization

The Zero Paper program is having a profound impact on Implaser: reducing paper consumption requires the design and implementation of new processes and new ways of doing things. In other words, a cultural shift that can only be achieved from within.

It is a team of volunteers who, involved from the beginning, are participating in the entire change process: from identifying problems to proposing solutions and constantly monitoring the results. This work is being reinforced with a program to boost internal communications, with which we aim to achieve greater efficiency and closer relationships.

The evolution of this project demonstrates that a team, with objectives and strategy, is capable of bringing about real changes in favor of the environment.
