This year, the JURAS 7850/PRO dual-rotor side rake, the JURAS 12545 four-rotor rake and its ISOBUS-compatible PRO version are having their technology and look updated. During the process of redesigning the JURAS 7850 – the extensively equipped specialist machine for grass and hay – particular attention was paid to ensuring high stability and that the design components assist its functioning.  Meanwhile, thanks to its new broad gauge chassis with hydraulic chassis axle, the JURAS 12545/PRO four-rotor rakes enable short set-up times on the field. The tine arms stay on the rotor during transportation and the machine remains below a transport height of four metres.

JURAS 7850/PRO – Optimised raking quality in a contemporary design

This dual-rotor side rake's new, functional look combines professional equipment with maximum stability and flexibility over a working width of up to 8.40 m. For example, the practically conceived cover is designed to be ergonomic, which not only prevents crop build-up but also creates a dynamic and modern appearance. All hydraulic components are protected by the cover plate while in operation. The shape also factors in optimum accessibility for maintenance work and adjustments. The powerful load-relieving springs, which are fitted to both rotors as standard, support low-impact raking and reduce the load on the countersprings and chassis. Meanwhile, the fully gimballed rotor suspension prevents the tines from penetrating the ground during raising and lowering. In addition, the hydraulic CamControl cam track adjustment makes the series absolutely unique. The tines are rotated into the passive position by a hydraulic adjustment of the cam track when raising the machine on the headland. This achieves a ground clearance of over 50 cm, allowing you to drive over large swathes and meaning that these machines are also all-rounders in hay. A steering system running within the frame – the patented steerGUARD steering system – ensures highly precise, manoeuvrable and direct transmission even after many years. The individually adjustable, hydraulic sequential control and the tried-and-tested jet effect system – which raises and lowers the rotor chassis with a time delay to prevent the machine from penetrating the ground and therefore also prevents forage contamination – further confirms the rake's status as a high-performance machine. As an option, the single and dual swath deposit provided with the JURAS 7850/PRO as standard can be controlled hydraulically. Equipped with electrohydraulic convenient operation, the PRO version allows users to control all functions with ease from the tractor, such as adjusting the raking height and switching from the transport to the working position.

Lowering at the touch of a button – JURAS 12545/PRO

The JURAS 12545/PRO four-rotor rake, which has a hydraulically adjustable working width of up to 12.50 m, is one of the largest and most state-of-the-art machines in the FELLA range. To guide this rake on the road in a compact and safe manner, this series has a broad gauge chassis for the lowest possible centre of gravity and high stability. Moreover, a new feature on this model is the chassis' height-adjustable axle. This ensures that the machine's transport height is below four metres with the tines attached. In addition, its pivoting drawbar head with lower link hitch provides the necessary manoeuvrability and a powerful compressed air brake system for even greater road safety. Further features, such as an automatically folding swath guard and the sequential control system provided as standard, increase operating convenience. To facilitate work further still on long workdays, the PRO version has a hydraulic transport lock, an optional LED worklight that can be retrofitted and an ISOBUS device controller supplied as standard. This allows users to read all of the important machine parameters from the tractor terminal at any time and to operate all of the rake's functions from the tractor seat.
