PALFINGER truck-mounted forklifts are special forklifts that can be carried directly on the truck, enabling customers to work largely independently during unloading. The F3 series and its flagship

The F3 series not only looks good with its modern “cats eye” design, but also enables swift and efficient working – even in extremely confined spaces – thanks to its 180° steering angle. And the free-view mast gives operators the best possible view during loading. Its compact design and outstanding anti-corrosion protection ensure high reliability during use and makes it extremely easy to service. In addition, the new seat lock gives operators even more legroom and improves safety when operators climb in and out and during loading/unloading operations.

The F3 253 PX 4W – the model exhibited at bauma 2019 – is flexible, versatile and offers an outstanding view on all sides. Its special geometry means that even long loads can be easily moved in confined spaces – and also in any direction thanks to the swivelling front wheels, which ensure that operators always benefit from the best possible action radius. The F3 253 PX 4W pushes the envelope once again when it comes to the perfect combination of maximum lifting power and weight. Equipped with a 4-cylinder diesel engine and a dead weight of 2018 kg (without forks), it has a carrying capacity of up to 2.5 tonnes in front of the wheels. This makes it ideal for transporting long, bulky loads such as profiles and pipes, sawn timber, heavy building materials (precast concrete components), agricultural goods, gates and doors.

The box-mounted forklift BM 214

The box-mounted forklift BM 214 is carried not on the rear of a truck but in a box between a truck's axles, a setup that offers three key advantages: firstly, it is not in the way, particularly in the case of excessively long vehicles; secondly, this ensures a better axle load distribution; and thirdly, it is protected from dirt and rain since it is transported in a box.

Thanks to its low mast and compact, slimline design, the remote-control PALFINGER truck-mounted forklift BM 214 is ideal for use even in confined, hard-to-reach areas or in narrow garages. The truck-mounted forklift is stowed safely in a box on the carrier vehicle during transportation so that it is protected from the elements and, once it has arrived at its scene of deployment, is ready to use in less than 30 seconds anywhere, any time.
