Industrial Automation North America will feature approximately 100 companies from the process, production and industrial building automation sectors, complementing IMTS’ focus on machine tools, metalworking and precision manufacturing. Leading international companies will demonstrate their latest products and technologies for industries ranging from automotive, aerospace and material handling to machine tools, medical equipment, and mechanical and fluid power transmission. Roughly 40% of exhibitors are from the U.S., with the remainder coming from overseas.

“Our portfolio of industrial automation events is well established in Europe, Eurasia and the BRIC countries,” said Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President at Deutsche Messe AG. “We are thrilled to bring our latest industrial fair to North America and to continue to work with our longstanding U.S. partners – AMT, CFE Media, ISA, NFPA, and Penton – as well as VDMA (German Engineering Federation) and ZVEI (Central Association of Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers) in Germany.  Together we have created a fantastic venue for companies, products and innovations that improve factory automation,” added Pech.

Industrial Automation North America 2012 will also feature the Global Automation & Manufacturing Summit, the Motion, Drives & Automation Conference, and ISA Inside: Training Sessions at Industrial Automation North America.

Industrial Automation North America is organized by Deutsche Messe AG and its U.S. subsidiary, Hannover Fairs USA, and runs parallel to IMTS every two years.  Learn more at www.ia-na.com.
