Berghof Membranes announces its first “Innovation Day” at the IFAT Messe München. World-leading experts from research institutes, technology suppliers, consultants, OEM-partners and end-users meet and share their vision on the future of industrial effluent treatment.
This year the Berghof Group will celebrate its 50th anniversary. Because of this memorable feat Berghof Membranes will host Innovation Day. This international symposium creates a global platform for all effluent treatment partners to witness the great advances made in the developments of today’s technologies and to discuss the future challenges in technologies for industrial effluent treatment.
Berghof Membranes will offer attendees the opportunity to enjoy the presentations of five truly outstanding keynote speakers. Prof. Dr. Heiner Strathmann will kick off with the key principles and the focus on the essence of innovation, during his presentation about 50 years of membrane research and development. Mr. Christopher Gasson of the Global Water Intelligence will highlight the forecasts for the industrial water technology market. Professor Simon Judd will provide an overview of MBR technology for industrial effluent treatment and reuse and about the future of research directions. Mr. Farid Turan, managing director at MBR Solutions Ltd, will enter into the MBR solutions for the food and beverage industries. The role of AnMBR LETM Anaerobic MBR in environmental improvements at the Glenmorangie distillery will be presented by Mr. Steve Goodwin, Managing director at Aquabio.
The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A about all issues discussed. An extensive debate between speakers and attendees will be expected.
