PALFINGER EQUIPMENT for top performance in practice

PALFINGER customers need a versatile and reliable tool that can help them to complete their work in a quick, safe and accurate way. At the same time, professional equipment improves the crane's multifunctionality and enables our customers to work more successfully.

By working closely with its customers on continuously developing products, PALFINGER is able to continue optimising the simple, efficient and safe mounting of the crane on the truck. A large selection of crane tools – brick stack grapples, grabs and forks, from workman baskets to augers – also makes it possible for customers to provide the right tools for every situation.

Developments in the Segment “Crane Tools”

The most significant innovations in the field equipment on the crane tip, presented by PALFINGER at the bauma 2019, are on the one hand the multifunctional adapter (MFA) – a mechanical standard interface for various connections such as the MFA-jib for an increased outreach – and on the other hand a hydraulic quick-change system. The latter makes connecting various attachments a more convenient and ergonomic process and minimises the time required for changing devices. The hydraulic quick-change device is ideal for operators who frequently have to change between different attachments.

A particularly compact container discharge system constitutes a significant innovation, especially for urban areas. Together with its partner Kinshofer, PALFINGER has developed a solution that simplifies and accelerates the emptying cycle considerably by optimising and reducing the total height and boosting the working speed. The container discharge system, with a lifting capacity of up to 4.500 kg, will be available from Q2 2019.

Developments in the Segment “Mounting Accessories”

It is the stated aim of PALFINGER to ensure that the supplied lifting solutions are able to provide the promised performance at the highest level of safety. The actual performance depends quite considerably on the overall concept consisting of truck, crane and bodyworks. The experience and developments of PALFINGER’s Mounting Competence Centre (MCC) will be used to ensure that components and kits are available for a simple and efficient mounting process. Significant innovations presented at the bauma 2019, include the front stabiliser kits for SCANIA, VOLVO and MAN. In addition, there is also a variety of tried-and-tested mounting components on the exhibited vehicles – from various additional stabilizer systems and the PALFINGER hybrid unit to PALFINGER toolboxes.
