At bauma 2019 PALFINGER will be presenting the latest developments and innovations and – for the first time ever in the history of PALFINGER access platforms – a selection of models from the entire global platform range.

Insulated lifting platform: ETC 40 IH

Another highlight of the PALFINGER platform range will be presented at bauma 2019 for the very first time: the ETC 40 IH. ETC stands for the combined joint and telescope superstructure, IH for insulation with hydraulic controls (insulation class C against 46 kV).

The high-performance insulated lifting platform with a working height of 13.7 m and an outreach of 8.8 m is already being put to good use by a number of utility companies. It offers continuous rotation, full-pressure hydraulic controls at the basket and rotating tower and a basket load of almost 181 kg as a standard. The jib boom is made from glass fibre and the loading space is accessed from the side or via the loading area. There is no need for additional support. The ETC 40 IH comes with a completely closed and therefore optimally protected hydraulic system with an optional 18-gallon external tank.

The ETC 40 IH is ideal for use in the electrical industry in particular and can be adapted to specific requirements thanks to the wide range of options available.
