Intensive cleaning system for internal tank cleaning of sprayers
Modern crop protection agents have been optimised in their formulation for a quick and sustainable adhesion to the plant. Today this adhesion means increasing problems when trying to internally clean sprayer tanks. In many cases the operator has no possibility via the normal internal wash system of loosening these heavily adhesive pollutants from the inside of the tank.
AMAZONE, with its XtremeClean intensive cleaning system, introduces for the first time a highly-efficient, thorough, internal cleaning system for crop protection sprayers. In cases where there is a high level of dirt and deposits on the wall of the tank, the usual cleaning system is supplemented by this intensive cleaning system.
The intensive cleaning system consists of four spot jet nozzles which have been fitted on to an electrically rotating nozzle head. These high-pressure nozzles are guided positively round via an electric motor and, via the spot jets, systematically treat the total internal wall area of the tank. The high impact energy of this jet reliably loosens the deposits – even without having to use chemical cleaning additives. The excellent cleaning result is equal to that of a pressure washer.
A single cleaning procedure with the intensive cleaning system takes approximately 15 minutes. To optimally exploit the fresh water on-board it is, during the cleaning procedure, circulated in the spray agent tank. This principle is similar to that of a high, energy-efficient, quality dishwasher; the concentrated cleaning liquid then being sprayed out in the field. In an additional cleaning step, the tank is then rinsed again using the conventional internal cleaning nozzles and so the concentration of the residual volume in the spray liquid system is reduced to a minimum.
By integrating the intensive cleaning unit into the proven ComfortPack, the whole cleaning procedure can be started from the tractor cab and works automatically. In addition, the intensive cleaning device is an integral part of the tank and so cleans itself also after any application.
During the changeover between less-critical chemicals and when cleaning directly after utilisation in the field, the customer can revert back to using the more time saving, conventional cleaning system.
With the new XtremeClean intensive cleaning system, AMAZONE has brought out an extremely effective method for the internal cleaning of crop protection sprayers in the market.
