What is SENNEBOGEN presenting at INTERFORST 2026?

The SENNEBOGEN 718 E in operation is at the heart of the trade fair presentation. The demonstrations show how the machine works with a grapple saw and a mulcher, as well as how quickly the attachments can be changed. Visitors will gain a direct insight into typical tree care and embankment maintenance tasks, as well as the processing of storm-damaged timber.

SENNEBOGEN 718 E: Compact tree care handler for confined sites

The SENNEBOGEN 718 E is a compact tree care handler with an operating weight of 21.4 t, a 123 kW diesel engine and a reach of up to 13 m. With a slewing radius of just 2.4 m, it can also be used at confined sites, including along roads and highways. Road approval and its low weight make it easier to transport the machine between jobsites.

How does changing attachments expand the range of applications?

During the live demonstrations, SENNEBOGEN will show the 718 E with different attachments. The demonstrations highlight two tasks: working with a grapple saw and with a mulcher. The ALBACH TFZ 90-360° grapple saw features a continuously rotating rotator, a tilt angle of 195° and a saw bar length of up to 90 cm. It is designed for tree trunks with diameters of up to 70 cm. The ALBACH quick-change system enables fast attachment changes.

For mulching, the 718 E is equipped with a SEPPI M. E20 direct mulcher. It shreds brush and wood with diameters of up to 20 cm, including in vertical applications. Its beltless direct drive and M-BOOST hydraulic motor support power transmission; displacement and torque are adjusted automatically.

Log Handling Simulator: Try virtual log handling

Visitors can control a virtual log handling operation on the Log Handling Simulator. The application demonstrates what precision log handling requires and adds an interactive element to the trade fair experience.

Maxcab: Viewing height of up to 6 m and 30° tilt

The elevating Maxcab operator cab on the 718 can be raised to a viewing height of up to 6 m and tilted by 30°. This gives the operator a clear view of the working area. Features include an ergonomic air-suspension seat, a sliding door for easy access, a protective guard against falling branches and responsive joystick steering. Visitors can take a closer look at the cab at the stand.
