INTERMAT, the international trade show for construction and infrastructure, became a member of the association Connexion 21 (Association code of practice and membership conditions at www.connexxion21.org) on 1 July 2017, confirming its desire to contribute to collective awareness alongside the other 27 members (ADP, Alkern, Bergerat Monnoyeur, Cemex, CIMbéton, CISMA, Colas, Construire Acier, FNTP, Itea, JCB, Lafarge, Liebherr, Loxam, Manpower, PAM Saint-Gobain, Point P Travaux Publics, PUM Plastiques, Renault Trucks, SEIMAT, Stradal, TSO, UMTM, UNICEm, UNPG, Veolia Eau, Volvo Construction Equipment France) as to the importance of increasing investment in the maintenance and construction of infrastructure and renovating French legacy assets.
The actions of Connexion 21 consist of raising the awareness and enlisting the support of the general public and policy makers with regard to the advantages of investing in transport, energy, communication, wastewater and recycling networks, by demonstrating how this infrastructure makes a positive and tangible impact on the everyday lives and future of citizens.
