International media partnerships expanded

April 2014: steinexpo 2014 (3 to 6 September) continues to receive growing attention in the international media landscape. So, for example, the organisers GEOPLAN GmbH concluded new media partnerships with a Swedish and a Ukrainian provider of relevant trade information at the beginning of April 2014.

When the industry professionals again meet at the steinexpo in the basalt quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden early September, then this event will also have increased its widespread impact because more and more international magazines are reporting on this major event. In a proactive step a Swedish magazine and a Ukrainian trade journal group have approached the organisers expressing their interest in joining the media partnership. GEOPLAN has agreed to such a partnership with both groups and invited the magazines and editors to participate in the fair.

In addition to a general construction trade magazine with the same name as the company, the Ukrainian Group of Editions Kapstroitelstvo also publishes concrete and asphalt journals as well as a catalogue entitled ‘Special Equipment for Construction, Plant & Construction Technology’. The new Swedish contact is PDWorld. This company specialises in providing technical information on demolition and recycling on the Internet and publishes an eponymous magazine.

Exhibitors and trade visitors to steinexpo will find the trade magazine in the press tent and at the trade press stand. Preliminary information is available at  and .

The steinexpo has been maintaining a long-standing international media partnership with the French magazine Mines & Carrieres. Active cooperation is also maintained with the normal press through several media houses in Poland, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Italy and South America. At the last steinexpo in 2011, there were 37 international representatives of relevant media and local agencies to report on the fair, for example. Due to the clearly growing interest, it is expected that even more trade journalists from all over Europe will cover the event this year.
