Investing in a successful future

The family-owned company Pöttinger sets the course for the future by investing EUR 26 million in its manufacturing capacities in Grieskirchen (Austria), in Vodnany (Czech Republic) and at the seed drill plant in Bernburg (Germany). Future-oriented office construction is underway at the administration block at the Austrian headquarters.

The investments in expanding production capacity include a new hardening centre in Vodnany with fully-automatic vacuum carburising line and an extension to the assembly line at the seed drill plant in Bernburg, increasing the workshop area to 4,700 m².

For planes and ploughs

At the Technology and Innovation Centre, Pöttinger machines as well as the components of well-known aerospace manufacturers are tested for their quality and suitability in realistic operating conditions. The Technology and Innovation Centre in Grieskirchen is the first testing centre of its kind to receive certification for texting aerospace components and is one of the most modern in the world. Pöttinger invests in this centre for quality assurance with the addition of another laboratory building.

With the "Pöttinger Working World 2015" project, the administration office block is to be expanded and completely renovated. This is a clear statement by Pöttinger in committing to its original location and living up to its slogan "Roots in Austria – at home throughout the world". Completion is scheduled for spring 2015.

Future-oriented office structures

With a fourth floor above the existing building and three levels above the Service Box and Customer Service building, the existing office space will be increased from 2,500 m² by another 1,700 m². As a family-owned company, Pöttinger takes its responsibility for future generations and the environment very seriously. During planning and construction work, close attention will be paid to sustainability and ecological compatibility.

"Pöttinger Working World" will feature sustainable building materials, energy-efficient architecture, modern office spaces, safety zones, as well as communication areas to create a special work environment.
