Unacea and ITA - Italian Trade Agency present with a joint exhibition area at the international construction equipment exhibition of the United States.

Unacea, the Italian construction equipment association, is attending Conexpo/ConAgg, the international trade fair dedicated to construction equipment of Las Vegas, Nevada, which will run until 18th March. The Italian pavilion, organised by ITA - Italian Trade Agency in partnership with Unacea, is located in the Silver Lot 1 (S5054) and hosts the companies: ACSA Steel Forgings, Boat Lift, Condor, Dagso, Drago, Edil Euganea, Emiliana Serbatoi, GBM Building Equipments, Idromeccanica Italiana, Kiwitron, M3 Metalmeccanica Moderna, Mantovanibenne, Mechbadger, Mediapoint & Exhibition, Metalgalante, Neron Pumps, Office Malaguti, Oleoweb, Outset, Raimondi Cranes, Remdevice, Safi Group, Serigrafia ‘76, Settima Meccanica, SIBO, TracMec.

The North American market is the second destination for the Italian production of construction equipment. In 2021, indeed, the Italian export to North America exceeded €331 billion, up 11% if compared to 2020. In the same way, the Italian export to Latin America witnessed a 31% growth reaching €120 billion.

The expansive dynamic of Italian construction equipment export to North America continued also in 2022: from January to November 2022, the Italian export reached €403 billion with a growth of 41% if compared to the same period of last year. In particular, the segments that witnessed the more relevant growth were road machines, earth-moving machines and perforating machines.

"The United States represents the main market in the world for construction equipment and the first extra European destination for the Italian production of the industry - said Michele Vitulano, President of Unacea. Thanks to the public investment to support participating SMEs, the Italian manufacturing companies can attend one the biggest CE fair at discounted rates and with a formula which speeds-up the organization activities and allows at the same time to promote the image of made in Italy in a coordinated way.”
