JAMSHEDPUR AND DHARWAD PLANTS OF TELCON WIN "AWARD FOR TPM EXCELLENCE, CATEGORY A"

The Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) has awarded the coveted ward for TPM Excellence, Category A to the Jamshedpur and Dharwad plants of Telco Construction Equipment Company Limited, (TELCON). The company won this International Recognition for its exemplary implementation of efficient and effective processes in both its Plants at Dharwad and Jamshedpur.

The TPM Excellence Award indicates that the company has matured business processes and has demonstrated significant business results on parameters of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Delivery and Morale.

The award was conferred after two stages of rigorous assessment by JIPM Assessors:

The results of the Second Stage Audit were declared on 25th January 2011.
TELCON will receive the award in Kyoto, Japan on 9th March 2011.

• First Stage Audit was carried out by Assessors from Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM). This was done on 10th and 12th May 2010 for Dharwad and Jamshedpur Plants respectively
• Second Stage Audit was carried out by Assessors from Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM). This was done on 17th and 19th January 2011 for Dharwad and Jamshedpur Plants respectively
• Prior to the above assessments, an Assessment in the form of TPM Health Checkup was carried out by CII on 25th and 27th November 2009 for Jamshedpur and Dharwad Plants respectively

• The results of the Second Stage Audit were declared on 25th January 2011.
  TELCON will receive the award in Kyoto, Japan on 9th March 2011
