JLG's exciting return to Bauma

JLG returns to Munich this year with a variety of new machines and industry-leading innovations, including new generation telescopic boom lifts and low-level access products. The highlight of the show will be the unveiling of two new electric models: the EC450AJ Compact, an electric telescopic boom lift developed in Europe and manufactured in JLG's Italian factory, and the larger EC660AJ telescopic boom lift.

‘With these models, we are demonstrating our ability to innovate to meet market changes,’ says Rogerio Dos Santo, JLG VP EMEAI & Global Strategy and M&A. ‘We are continuously evaluating our customers’ technology needs and developing solutions accordingly.’ In line with the Bauma theme of ‘climate neutrality and alternative drive concepts’, these are primarily new emission-free products.

JLG's Bauma appearance with a strong European focus also offers interested visitors the opportunity to see machines from the subsidiaries based in Italy, Spain and the UK. Hinowa, AUSA and Power Towers will also be presenting a range of interesting products at the JLG stand. Power Towers, for example, will be showing the Power Tower Duo and the Nano30CS for confined spaces. Hinowa will be represented with four products (TC30, LL20.10 BI/Energy, TPX1800E and HS121203E), and AUSA will present two machines (D151AEG and T164E). AUSA will also have a separate stand to present its own products.

Another major topic at the JLG stand is digital solutions: JLG will be demonstrating the latest development of ClearSky Smart Fleet™. The ClearSky Smart Fleet™ platform transforms the previous one-way telematics into a two-way solution, enabling communication between machine and user. ‘This robust, fit-for-purpose solution is revolutionising the way customers manage their equipment and will continue to evolve to deliver even greater value,’ says James W. Hahessy, Product Manager - Connected Solutions, JLG EMEA.
