JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and a leading global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, introduced its upgraded line of SkyTrak® brand telehandlers at the 2015 Rental Show in New Orleans, February 23-25. One of the five redesigned machine models is on display at JLG booth #8923.
The machines are now powered by a Tier 4 Final Cummins QSF 3.8L diesel engine that is powerful, fuel efficient and reliable.
A single joystick provides enhanced multifunction capability, and combined with the new integrated arm rest, helps reduce operator fatigue. A redesigned dash panel display is clean and clear. Air conditioning will be an OEM option on SkyTrak machines for the first time.
Outside, boom functions are faster and the cab door is engineered to be more durable. The rear counterweight now includes an integrated tow hitch for jobsite versatility. The line also sports a new color scheme and new decals for a modern look.
“SkyTrak is the number one selling brand of telehandler in North America,” said Brian Boeckman, JLG Industries’ global product director for telehandlers, “and these upgrades will most certainly ensure that this remains unchanged for the foreseeable future.”
