2775 E-Cut electric reel mower leads a specialist turf line-up focused on consistency and low-emission operation
At GaLaBau 2026, John Deere will place a strong emphasis on electric and precision turf solutions for golf courses and sports facilities, highlighting machines designed to deliver consistent results while reducing operating disturbance.
2775 E-Cut: electric reel mowing without hydraulic risk
Taking centre stage on the stand is the 2775 E-Cut electric reel mower, a triplex machine powered by lithium-ion batteries. By eliminating hydraulics at the cutting units, the 2775 E-Cut removes the risk of hydraulic oil leaks on sensitive turf surfaces — a key consideration for high-quality greens and sports fields. The electric drive system supports quiet operation, making the machine suitable for early-morning, evening or all-day mowing without disturbing players or surrounding areas. Advanced Whisper Link™ technology enables up to 42° contour-following and adjustable cutting parameters help ensure consistent cut quality, regardless of operator experience.
Operators can mow with one, two or all three cutting units, selecting reel engagement combinations to either replicate a walk greens mower finish or reduce the potential for triplex ring. Lift and lower speeds are also customizable to match daily course conditions.
Through an advanced control display, supervisors can define operating settings, such as reel modes, turn speed, and reverse speed that support repeatable results across different users, helping maintain surface quality throughout the season.
Utility rakes for bunker and sports field care
John Deere will also showcase the TruFinish™ utility rake range for bunker and sports turf maintenance, including the TruFinish™ 1210 and the TruFinish™ 1235 Electric Utility Rake. The TruFinish™ 1210 is powered by a 10.1 kW (13.5 hp), 401 cc petrol engine and carries a 14 l fuel tank for long operating periods. Its mid-mount system provides close to an extra 2.5 cm of ground clearance (compared with the 1200A model) to improve bunker accessibility, and an improved rear attachment system quietly raises and lowers implements.
The TruFinish™ 1235 electric utility rake targets near-silent, low-emission operation and pairs an all-day comfort operator station with the TechControl™ display for streamlined settings and diagnostics, forward/reverse pedals, and automated rake lift in reverse to help avoid implement damage. To support early-morning and late-day work, both machines can be equipped for low-light operation, with standard LED work lighting highlighted on the 1210 and an LED light kit (forward and rear-facing) on the 1235, alongside practical onboard storage and dual hand tool holders/carriers for rakes and essential tools.
Connected support for professional turf operations
Selected Golf & Turf machines offer connectivity options that support fleet visibility, maintenance planning and performance monitoring via John Deere digital tools. These features help course managers and grounds supervisors maintain oversight of machine usage, service intervals and operator behaviour.
