John Deere launches new small square balers

John Deere has signed a new partnership agreement with Italian farm equipment manufacturer Cicoria Srl to replace its complete range of small square balers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Based in Palazzo San Gervasio, Cicoria is a leading supplier of small square balers, while John Deere has a strong dealer distribution network offering an extensive range of agricultural machinery, including hay and forage baling equipment. The John Deere branded models to be manufactured by Cicoria will enable all John Deere dealers and importers in the region to benefit from the new partnership.

There will be two models in the range, both with a choice of wire tie or twine knotters and offering a wide range of options. The S160 and S180 are available with 1.6m and 1.8m wide pick-ups, producing bales 47cm wide by 37cm high. Bale length ranges from 40cm up to 130cm, and tractor power requirement is from 39 to 50hp.

John Deere’s new small square balers will be available for the 2020 season.
