John Deere has updated the popular Select Series™ and Signature Series™ tractor lines with new mower decks, improved instrument displays and two all-new models to help customers mow well and mow fast.

Both tractor lines offer the new Accel Deep™ mower deck for a cleaner, faster cut and added versatility. The flat-top design, available in 42-, 48- and 54-inch widths, enables a clean flow of material throughout the deck and discharge area, while maintaining speed for cutting and processing incoming grass. Additionally, lift-up spindle covers make servicing and cleaning easy and accessible.

"The new Accel Deep mower deck lets John Deere customers quickly mow their lawn and get great results," said Kim Ridel, tactical marketing manager, John Deere. "It's not how fast you mow, it's how well you mow fast."

The Accel Deep mower deck is also compatible with the innovative MulchControl™ kit. MulchControl allows operators to quickly switch between side-discharge and mulching with just a flip of a lever. Mulching returns finely cut clippings to the soil as a beneficial natural fertilizer that will potentially enhance lawn health.

All models have been updated with a new electronic instrument display. The automotive-style display is backlit for night visibility, and bright caution and stop lights will indicate an engaged PTO, disengaged park brake or incorrect start sequence. Once on the move, a tachometer helps homeowners mow at the optimum throttle setting for the best and quickest quality cut. When servicing is required, on-board diagnostics provide trained technicians with instant insights, saving time and money on repairs and maintenance.

Two new models, the X330 and X394, have been added to the Select Series line:

The X330 provides more horsepower while maintaining a quality cut, thanks to the 42-inch Accel Deep deck and V-Twin cyclonic engine. The engine features a patented six-step cyclonic debris management system that prevents clippings from reaching the air filter, resulting in less frequent cleaning and more efficient air flow. With a suggested price of $2,999, the model brings premium power at an affordable price.

For homeowners looking for more comfort and convenience, the X394 is the first model in the X300 Series to offer power lift, power steer and four-wheel steering all in one. Powered by a 22-hp Kawasaki FS engine, it features a 48-inch Accel Deep deck. The model offers ease of operation, with significant power, making it easy to mow well and mow fast.

The John Deere X700 Signature Series™ models have also been updated with even more premium features, such as a premium electronic display, back lit for night visibility and snow blower use. In addition to the 54- and 60-in high-capacity decks, the X700s are now also compatible with the 48-in Accel Deep deck, ensuring a quick, quality cut every time.
